CAUTION ››› Do not repeatedly remove and reinstall Bouncie.
Like a computer or smartphone, bad things can happen if power is removed from a device while it is updating.
To give Bouncie a hard reboot:
Turn off your vehicle.
Unplug Bouncie.
Wait 60 seconds.
Reinstall Bouncie.
Once reinstalled, Bouncie will perform a series of updates and validations, and then re-connects to GPS and the cell network. This process takes 5-10 minutes, and normal operation will likely resume the next time the vehicle is driven.
