Setting speed limit alerts in the Bouncie app can allow you to monitor and manage how fast your vehicle is traveling with each trip driven. The alert is based on the posted speed limit of any given road and a notification would be sent at the end of the trip when the vehicle has traveled over the selected speed limit threshold.

Note: Speed data usually comes into the Bouncie device from your vehicle's computer.

Creating Speed Limit Notifications

Select Notification Settings from the Options Menu [β€’β€’β€’], then choose Speed, then Speed Limit.

  1. You can either slide the bubble to the desired speed on the slider bar, or adjust the speed by using the + and - icons.

  2. Then turn on the notification by enabling the slider to activate the end-of-trip alert.

  3. Tap on Save in the top right when finished.

When viewing trip details, you'll see red areas of the route to indicate a driver exceeded the threshold, with green and grey sections of the route indicating they were within or under the limit.

Note: Speed limit data may not be available for all areas.
