If you currently own a Bouncie device and want to transfer ownership to someone else, there are a few things to do before it exchanges hands. Alternatively, if someone has given or sold a device to you, you'll need to know how to set things up.

For Current Owners

  1. Remove Bouncie from your vehicle's OBD2 port.

  2. Get the device ready for the exchange by ensuring that the device's label is still intact. The new user will be unable to set up the device without the IMEI number, which is located on the white label.

  3. Cancel your device subscription by opening the Bouncie app, tapping on the three lines on the upper left, and under Device, tapping Subscription. Find the vehicle the device was installed in and tap Cancel.

  4. Optionally, you can remove the vehicle from your app. If you are installing a new Bouncie device, or you need to retain the vehicle data, do not delete the vehicle in the app.

For New Owners of a Used Bouncie Device

Before you begin installing your "new to you" device, make sure the device has a white label with the IMEI number listed.

Tap the button below for the installation instructions.
