When you're waiting to pick somebody up, you sometimes park your car, crank up the tunes, and leave the engine running. The longer your vehicle sits idle with the engine running, the more gas it's using.
To remind yourself and other family members to turn off the engine after sitting idle for too long, use the Bouncie app to send you an Idle Time alert.
There are two types of idle alerts you can set. The first is Idle Event which lets you know every time the vehicle is idle in one spot longer than a set amount of time.
The second is Idle Total which gives you the cumulative amount of idle time for the trip.
To create Idle Time alerts, navigate to Idle Time under Settings, turn the switch on and use the sliders to set the time limit for the alerts, then tap Save.
