Anytime the device is removed and then reinstalled, a reconnect notification can be sent to you stating the time the device was removed or tampered with, the time it was reinstalled, and it will give you a breakdown of how long it was removed.

It's important to note that the alert is sent when the device is reinstalled and not when it's initially removed. The device can not communicate to our servers if there is no power source to the device.

Enable Tamper Notifications

Select Notification Settings from the Options Menu [•••], then choose Tamper Detection.

This type of notification will only be sent to you if the device is physically removed and reinstalled. This type of alert is not triggered due to loss of signal or data connection.

When your Bouncie device is removed, your vehicle's location will show where it was when the removal occurred.

Any time the device is removed and reinstalled the vehicle needs to be driven 10-15 minutes to reinitialize.
