IFTTT (which stands for If This Then That) is an online platform that features hundreds of pre-made triggers, known as applets, which allow you to associate a trigger, such as your vehicle's activity, with any smart connected devices and apps more efficiently.

In other words, you can use IFTTT to apply Bouncie-based applets to link your vehicle's activity with other smart devices and web services.

For example:

  • When your vehicle arrives home, Bouncie can tell your Nest Learning Thermostat to turn down the temperature or turn on the lights.

  • If a warning light comes on in your vehicle, Bouncie can automatically send you an email diagnosis.

  • If you use your vehicle for business purposes, Bouncie can send the business trip information to Evernote, save an image of the drive path to Dropbox, or even download your trip history to an easy to use spreadsheet using Google Sheets.

IFTTT also allows you to build your own unique triggers to connect Bouncie with your smart devices.

For more ways to automate certain activities between your vehicle and Internet-connected devices, check out the Bouncie IFTTT channel by tapping HERE.
